Here’s a nice option for commissioning a piece of flox artwork: Nothing beats paint straight on the wall, but lets face it, if your not gona be some place forever, then you want to be able to take your artwork with you! So here’s something….An artwork on wooden panel, surrounded by some work directly on the wall.
Here’s another private commission I did for a couple in Grey Lynn. Our beautiful New Zealand Ruru, adorned with flora, on a backdrop of Grey Lynn signposts and tongan inspired repeat patterns.

CRAZY!
Been working on a big Cut Collective exhibition recently, it’s on now at the Auckland Art Gallery. It’s called Public Access (our 4th one) and runs till the 11th of March – check it out if you haven’t already. Got a few pics below of the buildand install – will post a complete set of images when the show finishes.
Also got some pics here from Learning Curve skate shop on K’rd which myself and Deus painted. And lastly photos from an interior wall me and component painted at the end of last year.
New Prints! I’ve just started some new print runs. I have a Robin and Tiki as part of Cut Collective’s ‘Lil Nugget’ series, both are editions of 200. And some stenciled works which are actually paintings on paper and an unlimited edition. Have a look in the Artwork section for all the details and get in touch if you’d like to buy directly from me.
Wow, any ideas I had about getting some down time this year seems to be going by the wayside. Things have been as hectic as ever with a number of different things at different stages of completion. Have been painting every week with my crew Cut Collective, trying to get a new range together for summer, and have had a whole load of comissioned work to get through.
Looking forward to SUMMER and some time off!
Below is an assortment of images of what i’ve been up to. There’s Cut Collective mural work including a canvas done at Semi-permanent 09 for Spicers Paper, some bus backs painted as part of ‘Tiger Art’ – a collaboration between Cut Collective and Tiger Beer. Also in there is a cafeteria wall painted by CC for Argyle who manufacture school uniforms, photos of a billboard which features my artwork as part of a wider Shingle Peak wine campaign and finally pics from Bungalow 8 – a bar down in Aucklands viaduct painted last month as part of the aforementioned ‘Tiger Art’ campaign.

Had plenty going on lately, just managing to keep up to date with it all. Cut Collective has been busy painting every week with no end in sight for now. Trying to put aside some time for a new range too! Here’s hoping..
Had a little thing in the last Sunday Star Times as well.
Done! Finally got what is my “Current” range together and photographed. Featuring what is in stores now, bar a couple of garments still in prodution. It’s a bridge into spring as we dare think about warmer weather!

We (The Cut Collective) have just started a rather large project with Tiger Beer, part of which involves painting a series of pieces in/on a few bars around AK.
I designed the first one for Ginger Minx bar just off Dominion Rd, if you’ve never been there it’s worth a visit for a cocktail, nicely put together with attention to detail done in an effortless way.
The painting wasn’t easy, being done up a cherry picker inbetween passing rain. But, it was definitely worth it.
